The Problem

Harbor Freight is a large, established retail brand with a strong promotional cadence, loyal customer base, and highly recognizable visual system. For the credit card campaign, the challenge was not to reinvent the brand, but to create marketing that felt clear, trustworthy, and easy to act on within an already busy retail environment. The campaign needed to communicate financing benefits quickly, support conversion across email and digital touchpoints, and remain consistent with Harbor Freight’s broader promotional design system while balancing offers, disclaimers, product messaging, and brand requirements.

The Solution

I designed campaign assets that balanced promotional impact with clear, structured communication. Using Harbor Freight’s established brand language as the foundation, I refined the layout, spacing, typography, offer hierarchy, and call-to-action treatment to make the credit card benefits easier to understand at a glance. The result was a campaign system that felt familiar to existing customers while giving the financing message enough emphasis to stand out and drive action.
